I'm posting!!! I have always wanted to read the Glass Menagerie and it wasn't what I expected. The prologue came to mind several times throughout the play because Tom says that because it is a memory certain parts of it will be exaggerated and some parts played down, I wondered throughout what parts they were. I was surprised by the choice of narrator because in the end Tom leaves (I hope I didn't just give it away for someone planning on reading the play, sorry) and I hated him for leaving. Usually the narrator is someone you really like and makes constructive choices for the other characters and holds everything together but Tom made things unsure and insecure when he fights with his mother and when he leaves in the end. I have to got to practice now so I'll write more later on symbolism and such.
