The Scarlet Letter
Have you seen the film also? Which did you like better??? In response to your question about the project...the literary analysis from a reputable source can be a theme and not just the full piece of work. :)

Thanks for answering my question. I haven't had a chance to see the film. However, I really enjoyed the novel. All of the symbols and themes are wonderful. Perhaps the best message that I took from the novel is that everybody sins. But, sins don't necessarily have to be horrible things. Like Hester's case, sins give us the ability to grow as people and overcome what at one point we might of thought was impossible.
Period 1 - English 10 Honors Period 2 - Dept. Head Duty (Sem2: Burnham Speech & Media) Period 3 - English 10 Honors Period 4 - Personal Prep (Sem2: Theatre as Literature) Period 5 - English 12AP Period 6 - English 12AP Period 7 - Theatre as Literature (Sem2: Personal Prep)

Teaching English, Directing Theatre and Coaching Debate keeps me rather busy at Glacier High! I also have a personal life (gasp) that includes 2 amazing kids and a wonderful husband.
